Stampin' Up! Butterfly & Daisy Hello

Hello & Welcome!  ☺  Since today is St. Patrick's Day, I wanted to make a card with at least a little bit of green!  I started by choosing this 👇 sketch from TGIF Challenges, then grabbed Stampin' Up's Daisy Lane stamp set and Mossy Meadow Classic Stampin' Pad as my starting point.
    • Adhere a 4"x5-1/4" piece of Mossy Meadow Cardstock to a standard Basic White (Thick) Cardbase (8-1/2"x5-1/2", scored at 4-1/4")
    • Use Smoky Slate to stamp the daisy - twice - on Basic White Cardstock.
    • Punch the daisies out with the Daisy Punch.
    • Add some color to the center of one of the daisies with a sponge dauber and Crushed Curry Stampin' Pad.
    • Use a bone folder to curl the edges of the flower up a little
    • Attach the daisies together with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.   (I like using the Liquid Glue for things like this because I can move it around a bit before it is totally stuck.)
    • Stamp the stem in Mossy Meadow on a  3-7/8"x5-1/8" piece of Basic White Cardstock.
    • Using the adhesive of your choice (I used Liquid Glue), adhere this piece of White Cardstock to the front of your card.
    • Attach the daisy to the top of the stem with more Liquid Glue.
    • Die cut butterflies from Butterfly Bijou Designer Series Paper using the large die from Brilliant Wings Dies.
    • Attach the smallest butterfly to the edge of the daisy with Mini Stampin' Dimensionals. (Save the rest of the butterflies for another project)
    • Using Versamark, stamp 'Hello' on a piece of Mossy Meadow Cardstock.
    • Sprinkle White Emboss Powder of the 'hello' and heat emboss.  Then trim around it with Paper Snips.
    • Attach the 'Hello' piece with Mini Stampin' Dimensionals (I cut mine in half so they fit on the back better)
    • Stamp the small daisy in Smoky Slate on the inside of the card.
    • Using the sponge dauber and Crushed Curry Ink, add a little color to the middle of this flower, too. (This is also a great way to decorate the front of the envelope)

Have a wonderful St. Patrick's Day and enjoy creating something soon!
Happy Stamping!
