Stampin' Up! Peaceful Moments Birthday Card

Hello and welcome to my blog!  I hope you are having a pretty peaceful day.  Today's card was inspired by As You See It's Challenge 254.  This is a great sketch with many possibilities!  I decided to use Stampin's Up!'s Peaceful Moments stamps and Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper to create a card with this sketch as my guide.

MEASUREMENTS
Evening Evergreen Card Base ~ 8-1/2" x 5-1/2", scored at 4-1/4"
Pansy Petals DSP ~ 3-1/4" x 4-1/2" and 2-1/4" x 3-1/2" (& 3/8" x 5-1/4" inside)
Pale Papaya Cardstock ~ at least 2" x 2"
Evening Evergreen Cardstock ~ at least 2" x 2"
Basic White Cardstock ~ 5-1/4" x 4" (inside)

  • Stamp 'Happy Birthday' using Evening Evergreen ink on the Pale Papaya CS
  • Layer the DSP, as shown, on the front of the Evening Evergreen Card Base, using your favorite adhesive
  • Use Layering Circles Dies to cut out the Pale Papaya CS and the Evening Evergreen CS
  • Add the 4-1/4" ribbon across the front of the card using Glue Dots
  • Adhere the Pale Papaya circle to the Evening Evergreen scalloped circle
  • Use Stampin' Dimensionals to attach the layered circles to the front of your card.
  • Place a few In Color Jewels around 'Happy Birthday'

For the inside of the card, attach the strip of DSP to the bottom of the 4" Basic White CS.  Then, attach the Basic White CS to the inside of the card.

I hope you enjoyed this card!  Please contact me if you have any questions, for a catalog (if you don't have a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator and live in the USA), or to Join!  You can also click the link at the top of my blog to sign up for my newsletter.
