Stampin' Up! Peaceful Moments Card

Hi and welcome to my blog!  I'm so glad you stopped by.  Today's card was inspired by this sketch by Fab Friday and my amazing friends.
MEASUREMENTS
Night of Navy Card Base ~ 8-1/2" x 5-1/2", scored at 4-1/4"
Merry Merlot Cardstock ~ 4" x 5-1/4"
Basic White Cardstock ~ 3-7/8" x 5-1/8", 1/2" x 3-1/2", 2-1/4" x 4" and 4" x 5-1/4"
In Good Taste Designer Series Paper ~ 3/4" x 3-3/4", 1" x 4"

  • Emboss the 3-7/8" CS with the Brick & Mortar Embossing Folder.  Then, lightly rub a little Merry Merlot ink over the bricks using a Sponge Dauber
  • Stamp the sentiment on the 1/2" Basic White CS in Merry Merlot.  (I stamped it on a larger piece of Basic White, then trimmed down to 1/2")
  • Stamp the flower using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  Then, stamp the inside of the flower with Crushed Curry.
  • OPTIONAL: color the leaves with Old Olive Stampin' Blends.
  • Attach all the layers, as shown, with your favorite adhesive.

    1. Thank you Amy! I think the brick might be my favorite part of this one. Our house is pink/red brick and this almost matches perfectly, with the lighter and darker bricks! ;) I always enjoy the sketches at Fab Friday, thanks for the inspiration!
