Stampin' Up!'s Driving By ~ Kylie's Demonstrator Training Program Blog Hop January 2022

Thank you for joining us for our Stampin' Up!® Demonstrator Training Program Monthly Blog Hop!  We are so happy that you could join us today for this blog hop for ideas and creative inspiration.  We are a group of Stampin' Up!® Demonstrators from around the world that are taking part in training which is helping us build a successful Stampin' Up!® business and reach some goals we have set.  We really appreciate your support.

You may be starting here or have come from another blog ~ either way you can find the link list at the bottom of this post so that you can see every blog post and idea today.

As part of our training, Kylie & Bruno challenge us each month to create thank you cards for our customers and team members.  This is one of my favorite things about their training!  Partly because I think it is incredibly important to say thank you, especially to our customers & team members.  But also because I love being inspired by all the other creative demonstrators in this blog hop!

The thank you card I am sending to my amazing customers this month features a new stamp set from Sale-a-bration!  Yup, that means that you can get this set FREE with a qualifying order (in the USA, that's $50) during Sale-a-bration!  I love this time of year! :)

One of my favorite things about this set is that it's another perfect for coloring!  You can change the vibe of this set just by changing the colors, or the coloring tools you use with these images.  I chose to keep it fairly simple this time, but you can also get fancy with it!

MEASUREMENTS
Card Base ~ Blackberry Bliss Cardstock ~ 6-1/4" x 6-1/2", score at 3-1/4"
Layer 1 ~ Soft Succulent Cardstock ~ 3" x 6"
Layer 2 ~ Basic White Cardstock ~ 2-3/4" x 5-3/4"
Inside Layer ~ Basic White Cardstock ~ 3" x 6"

  • Stamp the bus on Layer 2 with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.
  • Use the brush end of a Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker to color just the car (not the balloons) on the stamp...yes, ON the stamp.  Now, stamp the car on Layer 2.  (You can use Stampin' Write markers to add color directly to the stamps, but do NOT try this with Stampin' Blends)
  • Color the cars with Stampin' Blends or Stampin' Write Markers (I used Stampin' Blends)
  • Ink up the sentiment stamp, also with your Black Stampin' Write Marker, but do NOT ink the word 'hi'.  Stamp the sentiment, then add three black dots with fine tip end of the marker.
  • Stamp 'awww, thanks' with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.

I didn't add anything to the inside layer, but I did decide to stamp the car on the front of the envelope.  This envelope measures 3-5/8" x 6-1/2".  Color on the envelope with a very light hand because the ink will bleed on this cheaper material.  (I have the new Slimline Envelopes from Stampin' Up! ordered.  So, expect larger slimline cards from me in the near future with MUCH better envelopes!  So exciting!)

I hope you enjoyed this card!  Don't forget to check out all the other cards from the amazing demonstrators in this blog hop.

If you would like to see the product list for this one, it is at the end of this post.

Happy Stamping!
