Stampin' Up! In the Tropics - Sketch Saturday

Happy Saturday! Surprise...I did not stamp at all on this card!  That's so rare for me.

I made today's card for Sketch Saturday's #696 sketch.  This sketch challenge will be open until next Friday, I hope you will join us!

The lower part of the pineapple was cut from Crushed Curry Cardstock and applied to the card front with Liquid Glue.  The pineapple crown was cut from Granny Apple Green Cardstock and adhered to the top of the pineapple with Liquid Glue, while the top of the crown was attached with Mini Stampin' Dimensionals.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the die cut 'aloha' to a scrap of Basic White Cardstock, then fussy cut around the word, leaving a bit of a white border.  I feel like this help the word to stand out a bit better.  Of course, I used Mini Stampin' Dimensionals to attach 'aloha' to the card.

For the inside, I added the die cut flowers from this set in Misty Moonlight, to match the card base.  The Misty Moonlight Cardstock and the Party Pattern Designer Series Paper will both be retiring at the end of April, or as supplies last.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today! I hope this card inspires you to create!
