Stampin' Up! 'Tis the Season Christmas Card

 

This is such a great card layout!  I got the idea from p. 33 of the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog.  Here is a photo of the card that is in the catalog. 

This layout is so versatile.  Check out this thank you card I made with this exact layout.  On this one, I stamped the sentiment with Versamark, then stamped again with Poppy Parade (the Stamparatus makes this SO effortless!), and used clear embossing powder and my heat gun to make it pop.  Such a cool effect in real life!

Here's the details for the layers.  (Product lists are at the very bottom) 

The card base is 8 1/2" x 5 1/2"", scored at 4 1/4"

The solid middle layer AND the pretty Designer Series Paper layers are each 3 1/4" x 4 1/2"

I used a scrap piece of Whisper White cardstock for the sentiments, then used my paper snips to trim it

The ribbon is cut 6 1/2", then trimmed a tiny bit depending on the size of the sentiment used. 

Also, I recommend putting a piece of Whisper White, cut to 4"x5 1/4" inside the card.  You can dress it up with a thin strip of the Designer Series Paper.

Stampin' Up! Butterfly Gala Note Card

 I keep going back to this stamp set, even though I keep telling myself to put it up until spring!  I needed a quick card this week and this one was perfect.  I love this clean and simple design. 

Aren't these colors happy!?  I 💓 this color combination!

The Gorgeous Grape cardstock is cut to 5 1/2" x 8.5", scored at 4 1/4". 

The Whisper White cardstock is 4" x 5 1/4".  

If available, use scrap pieces of Whisper White card stock to stamp the butterflies.  Stamp the outline first, then fill in the wings using the solid wing stamps.  

Punch out the butterflies using the Butterfly Duet punch.  I find it easier to line up the body of the butterflies for stamping AFTER punching them out.  

Stamp the sentiment on the Whisper White background, then attach it to the Gorgeous Grape card base.  Add the small butterflies.  Then, use Mini Stampin' Dimensionals to attach the large butterfly. 

I used a different block for each stamp, because I had the clear block handy.  If you only have Clear Block D it will work for the entire card.  Just be sure to clean each stamp before switching to the next one.
