Stampin' Up! Happy Labels - Birthday Card

Happy Labels is my Stamp Set of the Week, which means I'll be sharing cards created with this set here on my blog all week long! Happy Labels is a sentiment only set, perfect for using with a variety of other stamp sets, dies, punches, Designer Series Papers and embellishments.

For this first card, I decided to use my Dragonfly Punch to create a simple birthday card. I love adding wings with Vellum Cardstock to the dragonflies. Simply punch the vellum, then use paper snips to trim off the end before adhering just the head and center to the colorful dragonfly. Of course, no paper dragonfly is complete without some bling!

For the center, I added a small dragonfly and a 'Happy Birthday' sentiment from Go to Greetings, another sentiment only stamp. While Happy Labels has some fun and unique sentiments, Go to Greetings is your basic sentiments in beautiful fonts.

Stampin' Up! Taco Fiesta ~ Stamping Inkspirations Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to my blog! I'm excited to be joining the Stamping Inkspirations Blog Hop today. I love being a part of these fun Blog Hops with other stampers sharing what we love and create! Links to all the other blog posts for this hop are near the end of this post! - be sure to check them out! Hopefully you will be as inspired as I always am seeing what everyone else creates for this month's challenge.

This month's challenge was to create using the Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge below. Our instructions were to select three boxes in a row vertically, horizontally, or diagonally. I chose the bottom row for my card ~ red, circle and twine.

In fact, I made one of my circles red! How perfect is that!? I have been stamping with Taco Fiesta all week, and have been coloring the images with Real Red, Granny Apple Green and Lemon Lolly Stampin' Blends. I stuck with those colors again for this card, and added Copper Clay in the center of the avocados.

This Exposed Brick Embossing Folder, most likely, going to be my new 'Go To' Embossing Folder. I just received it in an order this week and took it out of its package for this card this morning. Perfection!
