Stampin' Up! Potted Succulents Birthday Card

Hi!  Have you had a chance to play with the Simply Succulents Bundle yet?  I have used it several times...it makes beautiful cards!  However, this is the first time I have used the largest die that comes with the Potted Succulents Dies.

Start the card by using a Blending Brush to add Fresh Freesia ink to the edges of a 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" piece of Basic White Cardstock.  Then, add a bit of Soft Succulent ink to the middle of that same piece of cardstock with another Blending Brush.

Next, line the back of another piece of 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" Basic White Cardstock with an Adhesive Sheet.  Then, use the largest die to cut that out. Make sure to knock out all the little bits and pieces before peeling off the backing of the Adhesive Sheet and sticking the cut piece over the colored piece of cardstock.

Wrap a piece of white ribbon around the front of the card and tie a bow.  Attach these pieces to the front of your Fresh Freesia card base, which should measure 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" and be scored at 4-1/4".

Stamp your sentiment of choice using Fresh Freesia.  Cut out a piece of Fresh Freesia cardstock and your sentiment with one of the frames from the Potted Succulent dies.

Cut the Fresh Freesia frame in half and glue the halves to the back of the sentiment so that they peek out above and below.  Now use Stampin' Dimensionals to attach the sentiment over the ribbon.

The finishing touch for this card front is a 2021-2023 In Color Jewel just below the sentiment.

The inside of the card just needs a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White Cardstock with a succulent stamped in the corner with Fresh Freesia.

Happy Stamping!
