Stampin' Up! Prince & Princess Card

Hey!  Welcome to my blog, where I love sharing cards I have made and the details on how to recreate them!  Today's card is pretty simple and oh so cute.  This handsome little card was created to welcome a precious baby boy into the world, but can also be used for a fun birthday card!

MEASUREMENTS
Evening Evergreen Card Base ~ 8-1/2" x 5-1/2", scored at 4-1/4"
Basic White Cardstock ~ 3" x 2-1/2", a couple of scraps, and 4" x 5-1/4" (inside)
Crumb Cake Cardstock ~ 3-1/4" x 2-3/4" and a scrap
2021-2023 In Color Designer Series Paper ~ 2" x 4-1/4"

  1. Stamp the frog using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on the 2" piece of Basic White CS.  Then, stamp the plant on the two Basic White scraps and 'hey handsome' on the Crumb Cake scrap.
  2. Color the frog and plants with Stampin' Blends.
  3. Fussy cut around the plants with Paper Snips and quickly trim around 'hey handsome'
  4. Attach the layers as shown using Mini Stampin' Dimensionals for the plant and sentiment, and your favorite adhesive for everything else.

I stamped 'Welcome to the world' to the inside of the card, because it's for a new baby.  You can also stamp 'Happy Birthday' here if you would like to use this as a birthday card instead.  I also glued the extra plant to the inside of the card.

I hope you enjoyed this card!  Please contact me if you have any questions, for a catalog (if you don't have a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator and live in the USA), or to Join!  You can also click the link at the top of my blog to sign up for my newsletter.
