Stampin' Up! Counting Sheep Card - Using a Stamparatus

Happy Tuesday!  Thanks for lookin in on my blog.  Today is exciting because it is the first day of Saleabration AND the first day you can order from the NEW Mini Catalog!  I always love it when a new catalog is released, and Saleabration makes it even better!  (If you are wondering what Saleabration is, scroll to the bottom, or click the link to the brochure in the column on the right)

Today's card uses two products from Saleabration...Counting Sheep stamps and Penguin Playmates Designer Series Paper.  Both are super fun and I am looking forward to making many cards with them.  There's Sheep Dies you can also get from Saleabration and the Penguin Playmates DSP is perfect to use with the Penguin Place Bundle from the Mini Catalog.

MEASUREMENTS
Fresh Freesia Card Base ~ 8-1/2" x 5-1/2", score at 4-1/4"
Penguin Playmates Designer Series Paper ~ 4" x 5-1/4",
OPTIONAL: 4" x 1/2", 4" x 1/4", 6" x 2-3/8"
Basic White Cardstock ~ 3-1/2" x 4-3/4", 4" x 5-1/4"
Fresh Freesia Cardstock ~ scrap for the sentiment

  • Use the Stamparatus to line up the sheep.  Place the bottom sheep and the hat on one plate, and the middle sheep on the other plate. Once you have them lined up how you want them, use the magnets to hold down the 3-1/2" piece of Basic White.  Ink the stamps on one plate, then stamp.  Repeat with the other stamp.
  • Stamp the sentiment on the scrap of Fresh Freesia.  Trim around it with Paper Snips
  • Color the sheep your way (I used Stampin' Blends...you can use what you have handy)
  • Glue the DSP to the front of the Card Base.  Glue the stamped Basic White to the DSP.
  • Add the sentiment with Stampin' Dimensionals

For the inside of the card, you can add the two thin strips of DSP to the top and/or bottom of the 4" Basic White Cardstock.

I hope you enjoyed this card!  Please contact me if you have any questions, for a catalog (if you don't have a Stampin' Up!
