Stampin' Up Beauty of the Earth Card

Hello!  So have you had a chance to look at Stampin' Up!'s new 2021-2022 Annual Catalog that launched yesterday?  If you have, I'm sure you noticed the first bundle in the catalog, Beauty of Friendship, on p. 10.  This is a two-step stamp set, which means you stamp one image, then stamp another image on top of that image for a layered effect.  These stamps are impressive because with just one of the tree top stamps, stamped once with one color, you get different shades of ink.  I think that's amazing.

MEASUREMENTS
Evening Evergreen Card Base ~ 8-1/2" x 5-1/2", scored at 4-1/4"
Beauty of the Earth DSP ~ 5-1/4" x 2-1/2"
Basic White ~ 4" x 7" (or several scrap pieces) and 4" x 5-1/4" (inside)
Polished Pink ~ 5/8" x 2-1/2"

1.  Stamp the smaller full tree top three times using Evening Evergreen
2.  Stamp the 2nd part of that stamp OVER two of the Evening Evergreen stamped tree tops using Soft Succulent and over the third tree top using Polished Pink
3.  Stamp three tree trunks using Early Espresso
4.  Stamp the sentiment in Polished Pink
5.  Attach the piece of DSP to the card base
6.  Use the coordinating Beautiful Trees Dies and Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine to cut out the trees and around the sentiment
7.  Attach the treetops to the tree trunks and the sentiment to the Polished Pink Cardstock (I used Multipurpose Liquid Glue)
8.  Attach the two matching trees to the card front (I used Multipurpose Liquid Glue here, too)
9.  Use Mini Stampin' Dimensionals to attach the tree in the middle
10.  Place Stampin' Dimensionals on the back of the Polished Pink CS, and use it to attach the Linen Thread (I used approx. 16" of thread) behind the sentiment.

For the inside of the card, I added a piece of Basic White Cardstock and Misty Moonlight bird.

Happy Stamping!

Stampin' Up! Paper Pumpkin April 2021 Alternate Cards

Hi!  The cards I'm sharing today are alternate projects for the April 2021 Paper Pumper Kit.  I love these colors and the watercolor style of this kit.

For this first card, I decided to fussy cut around the stickers, leaving the backing on.  I attached them using Mini Stampin' Dimensionals so the recipient of this card can peel off the stickers and use them on another project!

The sticker on the inside of this card was attached with Multipurpose Liquid Glue, also with the backing still on.  Wouldn't this be a fun card for a child to receive?

This next card is simply the front of one of the cards included in the card kit, attached to another piece of Cardstock.  I did have some added fun "splashing" the Bermuda Bay Cardstock with Bermuda Bay ink using a Water Painter.

For the inside of this one, I used the widest Water Painter with Bermuda Bay and Blackberry Bliss inks to add a touch of color to the bottom corner.  I used the smallest Water Painter to "splash" a few drops of Bermuda Bay ink over that.  Then, stamped the popsicle in Blackberry Bliss.

For this final card I used Stampin' Up!'s Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper.  This is really the best choice if you are going to be watercoloring.  The color is much easier to apply and blend without messing up the paper.

I kept the inside of this one simple, with just a bit of Bermuda Bay and a Bermuda Bay popsicle.

Happy Stamping!
