Stampin' Up! Celebrate Sunflowers

Hi!  Welcome to my blog.  This morning was dreary and raining again, so I took some time to color another piece of the True Love Designer Series Paper to use on today's card.  I used to enjoy lounging on the couch and reading a book while listening to the rain.  Lately I enjoy coloring, card making and listening to audiobooks while it rains.  :)

MEASUREMENTS
Basic Black Card Base ~ 8-1/2" x 5-1/2", scored at 4-1/4"
DSP ~ 4" x 5-1/4", 2-1/4" x 1-1/4" (inside)
Basic White Cardstock ~ 3-1/2" x 3-1/2" and 4" x 5-1/4" & 3-1/4" x 1" (inside)
and approx. 3-1/4"x 3-1/4" (for the sunflower)
Night of Navy Cardstock ~ 4-1/4" x 1"

1.  Color the DSP and the sunflower
2.  Use the coordinating die to cut out the sunflower
3.  Tie a bow around the top of the Basic White Square Cardstock
4.  Use the Banners Pick-a-Punch to cut one end of the Night of Navy CS
5. Attach the DSP to the card base with Liquid Glue
6.  Then use Liquid Glue to attach the banner behind the Basic White CS
7.  With Stampin' Dimensionals, attach the Basic White CS (& banner) to the DSP
8.  Also use Dimensionals to attach the sunflower to the Basic White CS

For the inside of the card, I decided to color another strip of DSP to match the front.  Then, I stamped the sentiment to a piece of Basic White Cardstock and used the banners punch to cut each end of that cardstock.  I layered the DSP, sentiment and Basic White CS as shown.

I hope you enjoyed this card!  Please contact me if you have any questions, for a catalog (if you don't have a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator and live in the USA), or to Join!  You can also click the link above to sign up for my newsletter.

Paper Pumpkin May 2021 Batter Up

Hello!  Welcome to my blog.  Today I'm sharing with you the cards from May's Paper Pumpkin Kit, Batter Up.  This kit has a baseball theme, and came with a Night of Navy Stampin' Spot, a nice set of stamps that can be used over and over, and enough cards and envelopes for 9 cards.

Paper Pumpkin updated the way they include instructions beginning with this kit.  Instructions are now in full color with step-by-step clear instructions.

I stamped a baseball cap on the inside of each card, as well as on the front of each envelope.  Other than that small addition, these cards were made exactly according to the included instructions.

Have you heard about the Paper Pumpkin Kit for June?  It includes colors from both the 2020-2022 and 2021-2023 In Color Collections and includes not one but TWO Stampin' Spots!  This kit is designed to coordinate with the Expressions in Ink Suite.  The Expressions in Color PP Kit contains enough elements to create nine cards and coordinating envelopes.  PLUS, it arrives in a cute, colorful, and collectible box!

The stamp set in this box is all-occasion with sentiments for any season.  You can send hugs, congratulations, gratitude and smiles with this set!
Don't wait, subscribe to this kit by June 10, 2021.

When you subscribe to Paper Pumpkin and list me as your demonstrator, you will be invited to a Paper Pumpkin ZOOM class where we will put the kit together and I will show you an alternate project.  This class will be at 10:00am CST the first Saturday of the month following the subscription period.
