Stampin' Up Shaded Summer ~ Hello

Is Shaded Summer by Stampin' Up! one of your favorite stamp sets, too?  There's so many possibilities with this one, and so many perfect sentiments included with it!  For this card, the floral image was first stamped on a piece of Basic White Cardstock with Old Olive ink.  Then, it was stamped again on a scrap piece of Basic White CS with Gorgeous Grape ink.  Only the Gorgeous Grape flowers were then fussy cut and adhered over the Old Olive flowers with Liquid Glue.

MEASUREMENTS
Card Base ~ Old Olive Cardstock ~ 8-1/2" x 5-1/2", score at 4-1/4"
Layer 1 ~ Gorgeous Grape Cardstock ~ 3-1/2 x 4-3/4"
 Layer 2 ~ 3-1/4" x 4-1/2"

Of course, you any sentiment you like if you decide to CASE this card!

Shaded Summer is my Stamp Set of the Week, so I have been featuring it in all of my blog posts this week.  You can find the first two here and here.  Check back daily this week if you are looking for more ideas with this set.

Happy Stamping!

Stampin' Up! Shaded Summer ~ Card from the Catalog

It's time for another Card from the Catalog!  This week's CFTC features Shaded Summer stamps by Stampin' Up! and can be found on p. 58 of the 2022-2023 Annual Catalog.

This version is very similar to the original, but a few changes were made, beginning with the stamp set and dies. The original card used the Potted Geraniums Bundle while my version uses Shaded Summer stamps, Summer Shadows Dies and Potted Succulents Dies.

The designer series paper on both cards is from the same Pretty Prints DSP, however, the color scheme is slightly different.  The original card is Old Olive, Pear Pizzaz, Pale Papaya, Polished Pink and Calypso Coral.  My version of the same card is Soft Succulent, Evening Evergreen and Calypso Coral.  I also couldn't resist adding a few Brushed Brass Butterflies.

I've linked the YouTube Tutorial for you below.

Thank you so much for visiting my blog today.
