Hey there!  Thanks for stopping by!  Today I'm taking part in a blog hop with the Casually Crafting Design Team!  We are an international group of Independent Stampin' Up! This month we are doing a Sketch Challenge.  This type of challenge is my favorite!  I love this month's sketch and it's perfect for my Stamp Set of the Week, Vintage Christmas.

One of the fun things about Vintage Christmas stamps is that the flower, leaves & pinecone stamps all line up beautifully for easy, perfect placement!  Of course, it really helps that these are photopolymer stamps, so they are clear, and our blocks to mount them on are also clear!

MEASUREMENTS

Card Base ~ Pool Party Cardstock ~ 5-1/2" x 8-1/2", score at 4-1/4"

Layer 1 ~ Texture Chic Specialty Designer Series Paper ~ 1-1/2" x 3" (*2)

Layer 2 ~ Basic White Cardstock ~ 2-3/4" x 3/3/4"

Scraps of Basic White CS for the flowers and bottle

Scrap of Pool Party CS for the sentiment

Inside Layer ~ Basic White Cardstock ~ 4" x 5-1/4"

Stampin' Up! Vintage Christmas with Gilded Leafing ~ YouTube Tutorial

 

Pictures just do not do this card justice!  Stampin' Up!'s Vintage Christmas stamp set is perfect with Gilded Leafing accents.  I'm so glad I figured out how to easily add just touches of the Gilded Leafing to the stamped Vintage Bottle.  (Watch the card tutorial - linked near the end of this post - to learn how!)

Are you often looking for ways to use those leftover scraps of designer series paper (aka patterned paper)?  Stampin' Up's DSP is all so pretty I hate to waste any of it!  I'm always on the lookout for great ways to use up my little scraps.  This circle background has to be one of my current favorites.  I used scraps from Texture Chic Specialty Designer Series Paper that were at least 3-1/4" long and between 1/4" and 1/2" wide.

MEASUREMENTS

Card Base ~ Thick Basic White Cardstock ~ 4-1/4" x 11", score at 5-1/2"

Layer 1 (for circle base) ~ Basic White Cardstock ~ 3-1/4" x 3-1/4"

Layer 2 (top of circle) ~ Designer Series Paper ~ 3-1/4" x 1/4" to 1-1/2" wide

Layer 3 (bottle) Basic White Cardstock ~ 2" x 4"
