Stampin' Up! Sweet Strawberry

Hello there!  Doesn't this Sweet Strawberry stamp set look great with this paper from True Love Designer Series Paper!?
To make this card, I started with Sketch 416 from Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge.

MEASUREMENTS
Balmy Blue Card Base ~ 8-1/2" x 5-1/2", scored at 4-14"
Poppy Parade Layer ~ 2-14" x 5-1/2"
DSP Layer ~ 2" x 5-1/2"
Basic White (inside) ~ 5-1/4" x 4"
Scraps of basic white large enough to stamp the strawberry pieces and the sentiment

I stamped off once before stamping the inside of each piece.  Stamping off is not necessary when stamping the outlines.
Stampin' Up! is bringing back Black Stampin' Emboss Powder in the new Annual Catalog.  Don't have the black yet? After stamping the sentiment with Memento Tuxedo Black, quickly sprinkle Clear Emboss Powder over it and set with the Heat Tool.  Don't have either the black or the clear?  That's okay.  Stamp in black, then go ahead and trim around your sentiment with Paper Snips.

I wanted to show you two ways you could stamp the strawberry for the inside.  Well, they are basically the same, just one minor difference.
For the strawberry on top, I punched a Post-It note with the Strawberry Builder Punch then used the stem piece to cover where I had already stamped the stem.  By doing this I could stamp the strawberry without stamping on top of the stem.  As you can see, there's a pretty wide gap between the stem and berry.
For the bottom strawberry, I stamped the stem on a Post-It, then fussy cut around it before placing it over the stem I had stamped on my cardstock.  This made that gap much narrower.
Both strawberries are okay, it is up to you which way you would like to stamp it.

Hot Tip ~ it takes the ink longer to dry on the Post-It, so be careful that you don't accidentally smear it all over your beautiful card!  Even if you choose not to fussy cut the stem, you will get ink on the Post-It when stamping the strawberry.

I forgot to stamp off before stamping the inside of the stem on this strawberry.  Oops!

Happy Stamping!
