Stampin' Up! Celebrate Sunflowers

Hi!  Welcome to my blog.  This morning was dreary and raining again, so I took some time to color another piece of the True Love Designer Series Paper to use on today's card.  I used to enjoy lounging on the couch and reading a book while listening to the rain.  Lately I enjoy coloring, card making and listening to audiobooks while it rains.  :)

MEASUREMENTS
Basic Black Card Base ~ 8-1/2" x 5-1/2", scored at 4-1/4"
DSP ~ 4" x 5-1/4", 2-1/4" x 1-1/4" (inside)
Basic White Cardstock ~ 3-1/2" x 3-1/2" and 4" x 5-1/4" & 3-1/4" x 1" (inside)
and approx. 3-1/4"x 3-1/4" (for the sunflower)
Night of Navy Cardstock ~ 4-1/4" x 1"

1.  Color the DSP and the sunflower
2.  Use the coordinating die to cut out the sunflower
3.  Tie a bow around the top of the Basic White Square Cardstock
4.  Use the Banners Pick-a-Punch to cut one end of the Night of Navy CS
5. Attach the DSP to the card base with Liquid Glue
6.  Then use Liquid Glue to attach the banner behind the Basic White CS
7.  With Stampin' Dimensionals, attach the Basic White CS (& banner) to the DSP
8.  Also use Dimensionals to attach the sunflower to the Basic White CS

For the inside of the card, I decided to color another strip of DSP to match the front.  Then, I stamped the sentiment to a piece of Basic White Cardstock and used the banners punch to cut each end of that cardstock.  I layered the DSP, sentiment and Basic White CS as shown.

I hope you enjoyed this card!  Please contact me if you have any questions, for a catalog (if you don't have a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator and live in the USA), or to Join!  You can also click the link above to sign up for my newsletter.
