Stampin' Up! Paper Pumpkin January 2021

 I can't believe it is already time for the first Paper Pumpkin of 2021!  I really think Paper Pumpkin is going to be amazing this year, especially if this first one is any indication.  

I challenged myself to make 10 alternate cards with this month's Paper Pumpkin Kit.  I am happy to say, that I did just that, and I even have pieces of the kit left over for more cards one day!  

Of course, to get my creative juices flowing, and to see what all the kit included, I started by making one of each of the cards that kit was intended to make.  This picture really doesn't do them justice...these are beautiful cards in person. 

☝These are the cards that Stampin' Up! recommended as alternates on the included instruction sheet.  I decided to do my version of these cards next.  I didn't change much about them, just a bit, either to make better use of the included materials, or to use what I had on hand.  

Can you spot the small differences between the cards I made and Paper Pumpkin's examples?

Here's a crafty tip...you can use the Stampin' Blends to color the resin hearts.  Just put a layer of color on at a time, let it dry, then add a bit more.  That's how I colored the heart on this snail card.
