Stampin' Up! So Happy Birthday Card

Hello! How are you today?  I realized it has been a while since I shared a masculine card.  So here you go!  The layout for this quick and easy card was inspired by Sketch Challenge 252 at sundaystamps.blogspot.com.  If you were to participate in this challenge would you use the vertical or horizontal sketch?  I think I will try the vertical at some point.  I keep picturing it with the Butterfly Bijou DSP.

Here's how to make today's card:

    • Cut Night of Navy Cardstock to 8-1/2"x11", score at 4-1/4", cut a second piece to 1-1/2"x3-1/2"

    • Cut Basic Gray Cardstock to 4-1/4"x3-1/4"

    • Cut 3 strips from In Good Taste Designer Series Paper, each measuring 1-1/4"x3"

    •  Using the Happy Die, cut out the word 'Happy' and trim the extra off the sides.

    • Stamp 'birthday' in Night of Navy on Basic White cardstock.  Fussy cut around it with Paper Snips

    • Use the adhesive of your choice to attach the layers as shown.  The Night of Navy strip is attached with Stampin' Dimensionals.

You can add a strip of DSP to the inside of the card along with a piece of Basic White Cardstock.  You can also add DSP to the envelope flap.  A balloon stamped on the front of the envelope would also be a nice touch.

I  hope you are inspired to create something wonderful soon!
Happy Stamping!
