Sunflower Thanks

I wasn't ready to put up the Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set yet, so went ahead and used it for Challenge #649 by SketchSaturday!  I'm not sure if it's the sketch or stamp set that made this card so easy to put together, but I love both and the result!

When Stampin' Up!'s 2020-2022 In Colors were first released, I couldn't wait to get my hands on Misty Moonlight and was excited about Magenta Madness (I love the nameAND the bright color! lol).  However, I wasn't so sure about the other colors.  Now, I think that they are GREAT and use them all the time!  Isn't this Just Jade beautiful with the Cinnamon Cider?

I used Watercolor Pencils to color this sunflower, then went over it with a Blender Pen.  I went over some areas pretty heavy with the Daffodil Delight pencil before blending the color out.  I  think it gave it great dimension!

Again, I went with a simple strip of matching Designer Series Paper for the inside.  It's such a quick way to add a little something to the inside of the card without wasting a lot of space.  Plus,  it's a great way to use up some of those pretty scraps!

I hope you are inspired to create something wonderful with today's post!
Happy Stamping!

Stampin' Up! Sentimental Park ~ thank you card

When you buy stamp sets and then get to that amazing day where you have time to just sit and stamp and make pretty things, do you get even...
