March 2021 Paper Pumpkin Alternates

Hi!  I am having fun creating alternates with elements from the March 2021 Paper Pumpkin Kit.

This first card, uses the free stencils that were included in this kit.
The sunburst stencil was taped down with washi tape before sponging the color on, to prevent it from moving.  After stenciling the sunburst, it was cut out using a die from Stitched Rectangles Dies.
The largest Stitched Rectangle Die was used to cut the floral envelope liner from the kit.

After stenciling a few clouds with Seaside Spray ink, I fussy cut around them.
The largest cloud was attached with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
The smaller clouds were attached with Mini Stampin' Dimensionals

This sentiment is perfect for this card!  It is from the March 2020 Paper Pumpkin Kit.
I always keep the stamps from previous Paper Pumpkins.  They quite often have sentiments that I use over and over.
This sentiment was cut out using another Stitched Rectangle Die.  I only ran it halfway through the Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine, then realigned the die so that it made a smaller rectangle, and ran the other side through.

I used one of the Pretty Peacock card bases that came with the kit.  For the inside of the card, I just added a strip of the floral envelope liner that was left over from the front of the card.

In addition to the 'brick' background that was cut from the other envelope liner, this second card uses a bit of cardstock, two Stampin' Write Markers and the Happiest of Birthdays stamp set.
I don't know about you, but I quite often find myself needing a card for a birthday, a little bit late!

Did you know you can use Stampin' Write Markers to color directly on a Cling Mount Stamp?
This was one of the first techniques I learned around 16 years ago!
After coloring the stamp, 'huff' on it before stamping to make sure the ink is moist.

The Old Olive strip is one from the kit.  The Pretty Peacock strip measures 3-1/8" x 5/8"
The Calypso Coral piece is 1-3/4" x 2-3/4"
The Basic White Cardstock is 2-7/8" x 1-3/8".  It was cut AFTER stamping.

The inside of the card is a 1/2" strip of the same envelope liner that was cut for the front.
It is glued on the 4" x 5-1/4" Basic White Cardstock that is attached to the inside of the Calypso Coral 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" card base.

I hope you enjoyed today's cards!  I am including a product list for the additional supplies used to make these cards (at the end of this post).
Happy Stamping!
