Stampin' Up! Snailed It Notecard

Hello! Has your weather been as beautiful as ours today?  I hope so!  Today was so gorgeous, we decided to go out and buy flowers and a new grill!  Our afternoon was spent planting and putting together the grill, in the glorious sunshine.  Since there wasn't much time for stamping today, so the card I am sharing with you is SUPER quick!

For this card I used a piece of 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" Thick Basic White Cardstock, scored at 4-1/4".
I also used a piece of Basic White Cardstock cut to 5-1/4" x 4" (but this one is optional)

I used the large round brush from Stampin' Up!'s Water Painters to add a swirl of Bermuda Bay in the bottom corner of my card front.
Then, I used Basic Gray to stamp the snail over the inked background.
Using Bermuda Bay again, I stamped the 'Happy Mail' stamp on a scrap piece of Basic White Cardstock. I cut 'Happy Mail' out with Paper Snips.
Mini Stampin' Dimensionals were used to attach 'Happy Mail,' but you can also cut a normal Stampin' Dimensional in half to attach it.

Don't have the Water Painters?  That's fine, you can add the color background with Stampin' Sponges, Sponge Daubers or Blending Brushes.  Don't have any of those?  In the image above, I used a Clear Block C without a stamp on it.  Stamp off once if you would like a lighter background.

Happy Stamping!
