Stampin' Up! Beauty of the Earth Suite

Hello!  Welcome to my blog.  On Monday's I like to share cards that have a masculine feel to them.  The Beauty of the Earth Suite is perfect for masculine cards!  The images, colors and even the font are good choices for more masculine cards.  Although, they can also make nice cards for pretty much anybody!  This is just an all around good suite to have.

MEASUREMENTS
Night of Navy Card Base 8-1/2" x 5-1/2", scored at 4-1/4"
DSP ~ 4" x5-1/4" and 1/4" x 5-1/4" (inside)
DSP ~ 3-1/4" square (for large circle)
Basic White CS ~ 4" 5-1/4" (inside) and scraps for the tree
Night of Navy CS ~ scrap for the sentiment

1. Stamp the tree trunk using Early Espresso ink on the Basic White CS
2.  Stamp the fuller part of the large tree top using Mossy Meadow on Basic White CS
3. Stamp the sentiment with Versamark on a piece of Night of Navy CS, cover with White Embossing Powder, then heat set
4. Use the coordinating dies to cut out the tree top, tree trunk and sentiment
5. Using the largest circle from Layering Circles Dies, cut out a circle from the Designer Series Paper
6. All your pieces are ready!  :)  Layer them on the front of your card base, as pictured.  Use Stampin' Dimensionals to attach the tree and sentiment.  (You can cut the Dimensionals in half for the sentiment and tree trunk, or use Mini Dimensionals.)

For the inside of the card, glue the small strip of DSP along the bottom of the 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White Cardstock.  Then, attach both inside the card with your favorite adhesive (I used Multipurpose Liquid Glue).

I hope you enjoyed this card!  Please contact me if you have any questions, for a catalog (if you don't have a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator and live in the USA), or to Join!  You can also click the link above to sign up for my newsletter.

Happy Stamping!
