Stampin' Up! Celebrate Sunflowers Card

Hello!  I'm so happy that the sun is back out today and we have blue skies!  In fact, I'm so happy about it that it's spilling over into the card I'm sharing with you today with a Misty Moonlight (blue) card front and beautiful SUNflowers!  (cheesy, I know, but I really do love sunshine and it has been SO gloomy and rainy lately!)

MEASUREMENTS
Thick Basic White Card Base ~ 8-1/2" x 5-1/2", scored at 4-1/4"
Misty Moonlight Card Front ~ 4" x 5-1/4"
DSP ~ 1" x 3-1/4"
Scraps of Basic White, Garden Green and Mango Melody

1.  Stamp the sentiment using Misty Moonlight ink on Basic White CS.
2.  Stamp the smaller sunflower using Mango Melody ink on Basic White CS.
3.  Use the intricate Sunflower Die to cut out a sunflower in the Misty Moonlight CS.  Be sure to cut towards the upper left of the CS and save the sunflower and the surrounding piece for the card front.
4.  Use the same Sunflower Die to cut out a sunflower with the Mango Melody CS.
5.  Use the intricate leaf die to cut out a Garden Green leaf.
6.  Cut around the smaller sunflower and sentiment using dies.
7.  Attach the large Mango Melody Sunflower on the Misty Moonlight card front using 3 Mini Stampin' Dimensionals towards the top of the thick inner ring of the flower.
8.  Using Liquid Glue, attach the leaf to the bottom left corner of the card front.  Then apply glue to the bottom and sides of the DSP and attach it to the card front, partly over the leaf and the empty place for the Misty Moonlight Sunflower.
9.  Grab that Liquid Glue again and attach the bottom part of the Mango Melody Sunflower over the DSP.  Attach the smaller sunflower over the right side of the DSP and Sunflower.
10.  Use Glue Dots to attach the ribbon over the flowers and DSP.  (You can put one glue dot in the center of the ribbon, and one on each side of the ribbon, behind the card front.)
11.  Attach the card front to the card base with Liquid Glue.
12.  Line the Misty Moonlight Sunflower up so it fits in the space left for it on the card front.  Carefully apply Liquid Glue to the back of the Sunflower, being careful to keep it lined up correctly.  (I dipped part of a sponge on a dollop of glue placed on a silicone mat, then applied that to the back of the sunflower...carefully)  Place the sunflower in it's place on the front of the card.
13.  Use Stampin' Dimensionals to attach the sentiment over the ribbon.
14.  Tie a bow around the ribbon to the left of the sentiment.

This card is a tiny bit more complicated than my usual cards.  Let me know if you have any questions and I will do my best to answer them!

I purposefully left the inside of this card blank so that I will have more room to write.  You can choose to do the same, or add a strip of the DSP or another sunflower, maybe a leaf, to the inside.

I hope you enjoyed this card!  Please contact me if you have any questions, for a catalog (if you don't have a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator and live in the USA), or to Join!  You can also click the link above to sign up for my newsletter.

Happy Stamping!
