Stampin' Up! Sweets & Treats ~ Cards from the Catalog

It's Friday, Friday!!  Today's cards from the catalog are from the 2021 July - December Mini Catalog.  The first one was pretty quick and easy, so I decided to go ahead and make two!

If you would prefer to watch my YouTube video to see how these are made, go ahead and scroll down to the bottom of this post for the link.

MEASUREMENTS
Card Base ~ Mint Macaron Cardstock ~ 8-1/2" x 5-1/2", score at 4-1/4"
Layer 1 ~ Blushing Bride Cardstock ~ 3-1/2" x 3-1/2"
Layer 2 ~ Basic White Cardstock ~ 3-1/4" x 3-1/4"
Inside Layer ~ Basic White Cardstock ~ 4" x 5-1/4"
Scrap of Blushing Bride Cardstock

  • Stamp the cake dish with Real Red ink on the Basic White Cardstock.
  • Stamp the cake with Soft Suede ink on top of the cake stand.  Use the Stamparatus to line up the stamp if needed.
  • Use the Real Red ink to stamp the sentiment on a scrap of Blushing Bride Cardstock.
  • Color the images with Watercolor Pencils.  Then, go over them with Blender Pens, if desired.
  • Use Liquid Glue to attach Layer 2 to Layer 1.
  • Attach Layer 1 to the Card Base with Stampin' Dimensionals.
  • Adhere the sentiment, as shown, with Liquid Glue

Stamp the cake again on the corner of the Inside Layer with Soft Suede ink.  Then, color with the Watercolor Pencils and go finish with the Blender Pens.  Adhere the finished layer to the inside of the card with Liquid Adhesive.
