Happy Friday! I've been playing with Stampin' Up!'s Happy Hedgehogs Bundle this afternoon. Isn't it cute!? I love all of the images in this set and the sentiments are pretty sweet, too. In fact, I love everything in this set so much that I used all but two of the stamps between the card & envelope! MEASUREMENTS
Card Base ~ Granny Apple Green Cardstock ~ 8-1/2" x 5-1/2", score at 4-1/4"
Layer 1 ~ Sunshine & Rainbows Designer Series Paper ~ 4" x 5-1/4"
Layer 2 ~ Basic White Cardstock ~ 3" x 4-1/4"
Scraps of Basic White and a scrap of Flirty Flamingo
Inside Layer ~ Basic White Cardstock ~ 4" x 5-1/4"
I was determined to used as many of the stamps as possible on this card and envelope. So, I stamped the bird on the inside layer and the mushroom on the envelope flap. Side note, I'm thinking about going back with one of the Flirty Flamingo Blends and making those dots on the mushroom pink instead of Light Crumb Cake...what do you think? On the front of the envelope I stamped the smaller hedgehog and added the butterfly, just because I love butterflies.
I did fussy cut the tree and butterfly. Plus, I added color to the ribbon with the brush tip of the Light Misty Moonlight Stampin' Blends. Even doing these extra little things, this card did not take long to make.
