Stampin' Up! Amazing Phrasing with Happy Forest Friends DSP

 

This week I have chosen to feature Amazing Phrasing as my Stamp Set of the Week.  I'm very excited about using this set all week!  It is: 1) an exclusive to Sale-a-bration set (FREE with $100 purchase) 2) sentiments only so LOTS of opportunity to use with other stamps/designer series paper/dies, etc. and 3) unique words and phrases that can be used in many different ways!

MEASUREMENTS

Card Base ~ Sahara Sand Card Base ~ 8-1/2" x 5-1/2", score at 4-1/4"

Layer 1 ~ Happy Forest Friends Designer Series Paper ~ 4" x 5-1/4"

Layer 2 ~ Happy Forest Friends DSP ~ 4" x 2-1/2"

Layer 3 ~ Silver Foil Specialty Paper ~ 2-1/4" x 2-1/4"

Layer 4 ~ Old Olive Cardstock ~ 2" x 2"

Scraps of Basic White Cardstock 

Fussy bear and butterfly from Happy Forest Friends DSP

• Cut the 2nd piece of Happy Forest Friends DSP at an angle, with the low side at 1-3/4" and the high side at 2".  To do this, I like to make a light pencil mark at each side, then line up those marks in the cutting track of my Paper Trimmer.  
• Stamp the sentiments with Calypso Coral on the scraps of Basic White Cardstock. Fussy cut around them both, being more detailed with 'amazing'. 
• Use Layering Circle Dies to cut out Layers 3 & 4.
• Adhere Layer 2 to Layer 1 with Liquid Glue/Stampin' Seal.
• Place a glue dot behind the DSP, then attach the ends of the Sahara Sand Ribbon to it.  
• Use Stampin' Dimensionals to attach the DSP to the card base.  
• Place a bit of adhesive behind the scalloped circle and slide it under the ribbon, as shown above. 
• Use (3) Glue Dots to attach the Old Olive circle to the scalloped circle. (sandwiching the ribbon between the two circles)
• Attach the bear with Stampin' Dimenionals
• Adhere 'amazing' with a bit of Liquid Glue/Stampin Seal behind the 'am', a Stampin' Dimensional behind the 'az' and half a Stampin' Dimensional behind the 'ng'
• Apply Liquid Glue/Stampin' Seal behind the 'you' and the other half of the Stampin' Dimenional behind the 'are'.  Place as shown. 
• Use a tiny bit of Liquid Glue to attach the butterfly to the 'G'
