Today's card was created for Sketch Saturday's Challenge #722. Today (March 24, 2023) is the first day of this challenge, you have two weeks to play along. There's an optional challenge of using buttons on your card this time. I didn't have any buttons to use. At first I wasn't completely sure about this color combination. My original plan for my cake color was Blushing Bride, but I don't have Stampin' Blends in that color, so ended up going with Petal Pink for my card, DSP & cake color. I think it worked, what do you think?
It's hard to see in the photo, but I added a bit of Wink of Stella to the candles to give it some fun little sparkle. I used a tiny piece of a sticky note to cover up the ends of the candles when I stamped the cake, so they didn't show up on my stamped image. Then, I closely trimmed around the cake and finished it by going around the edges with the edge of the brush tip on my Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker.
