Over the weekend I had some time to play with the new January 2021 Paper Pumpkin Kit. I made the cards that were suggested with the kit first, including my versions of the three alternate ideas. Then, I came up with more alternates of my own!
For these first two cards, I stamped the adorable snail in Memento Black ink, then colored him in with Stampin' Up's Blends in Poppy Parade and Bermuda Bay. Do you recognize the layout for the card on the right? I used it on the dragonfly card in my blog post last Saturday.
These cards were inspired by Bruno Bertucci's Scrappy Strip Technique. I actually made the one on the right first. Then I remembered I had some Gold Foil Sheets left, so decided to do another one with the mailbox sheet. The 'love' on the right is a printed die cut from the Paper Pumpkin January 2021 kit, and the one on the left is a stamped image (fussy cut) from the same Paper Pumpkin kit. Another difference is that I left some space between strips on the vertical card, but no space between strips on the horizontal card. Which version do you prefer?
