Stampin' Up! Painted Poppies Card

Hi!  Welcome to my blog!  Yesterday I showed you a masculine congratulations card I made for my daughter's friend who just graduated.  Today I'm showing you card for another of their friends who graduated this year.  I love this card so much I decided to make a YouTube video showing you how to make a slightly different version of this card.  (The link is at the bottom of this post)

MEASUREMENTS
Card Base ~ 8-1/2" x 5-1/2", scored at 4-1/4"
Basic White Cardstock ~ 4" x 5-1/4"

1.  Measure 1-3/4" up the left side of the Basic White Cardstock and make a tiny mark.  Repeat on the other side, 1-1/4" up.
2.  Place a 4" x 6" Post-It or piece of scrap paper so that it covers the bottom portion of the card.  (Line the paper up with the tiny marks you made)
3.  Stamp poppies over the top portion of the card using Versamark ink.
4.  Sprinkle White Embossing Powder over the poppies, tap off the excess, then set with the Heat Tool.
5.  Use a Blending Brush to apply ink to the top portion of the card.  (From top to bottom I used Melon Mambo, Magenta Madness, Polished Pink)
6.  Use Glue Dots to attach the ribbons.  Then tie another piece of ribbon to the ribbon you just attached.
7.  Stamp the sentiment in the bottom corner, using Polished Pink ink.
8.  Stamp the flower in the left corner using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Then color with Stampin' Blends.
9.  Attach the Card Front to the Card Base using Stampin' Dimensionals.

For the inside of the card, stamp another flower in the bottom left corner, then color with Stampin' Blends.

I hope you enjoyed this card!  Please contact me if you have any questions, for a catalog (if you don't have a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator and live in the USA), or to Join!  You can also click the link at the top of my blog to sign up for my newsletter.

Happy Stamping!
