As part of our training, Kylie & Bruno challenge us each month to create thank you cards for our customers and team members. This is one of my favorite things about their training! Partly because I think it is incredibly important to say thank you, especially to our customers & team members. But also because I love being inspired by all the other creative demonstrators in this blog hop!
This month's thank you card features Stampin' Up!'s Honeybee Home stamp set. The 'thanks' is from the Bragworthy stamp set (if you love a good sentiment stamp, you NEED this one!).
I can't get enough of these little bees lately and find myself using them all over the place. As you can see, I not only placed one on the front of the card, but also inside it and on the envelope flap! Here's a tip, use Wink of Stella to add a little shimmer to the bee's wings. I do this on every bee, but I'm not sure you can see it in the photos. Wink of Stella adds just the right amount of shimmer to not only bee's wings, but also dragonflies and butterflies!
The images were all stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink, then colored in with Stampin' Blends. Before stamping & coloring on the envelope flap, I recommend opening it up and making sure it's on a smooth surface.
